We have been awesome scientists this term. We learned an awful lot about forces, materials, engineering and chemical reactions in science club plus lots of other things too! Take a look at just some of the experiments and investigations we completed.
How Do Helicopters fly?
Our Science Club Scientists delved into the worlds of aerodynamics and engineering to investigate how helicopters travel. We cut and folded paper in a certain way to explore how helicopters get their lift.
The boys and girls in science club had a great time creating, designing and flying paper planes in our last session. They had to choose what type of paper would be most suitable to make their planes and explore whether it was harder to fly them inside or outside.
Science Club have been designing structures. Which ones were the strongest and most stable? Look at these photographs to see our investigation.
Which is more dense water or oil? What happens when we place an Alka seltzer in with them? Science club did an experiment to find out.
